Successful test for Gino Rea at Misano today

Gino and the Ten Kate Honda team were testing today at the Misano circuit prior to the next WSBK Superstock 600 Championship race at the circuit on 21st June. The test included new WP suspension for the Ten Kate Honda CBR600 and was a success. Gino is now travelling to Assen for the next Dutch Superbike Championship race with the Duntep team this weekend. In Gino's words:
"Today went well. After the street races on the 1000, it was hard to adapt back to the normal circuits and the 600. The track seemed so wide and the corner speed is a lot faster. We tried the new suspension that WP built for me and it's a good improvement, better straight away. We found a good setting and good gearing to start from come the WSBK weekend. So I'm happy with how it went, although it would have been nice to do the rest of test over the weekend. Now I'm just about to fly to Assen for this weekend's Dutch SBK race, then I can relax in the sun back in Italy on Monday!"
