Pat McDougall 7th and 6th in Knockhill's two races
06-07-2009
Pat and Beowulf Racing finished 7th and 6th in the two races in the BSB British Superstock 600 Championship at Knockhill.
Starting from 10th on the grid Pat got good starts in both races gaining places off the line. From here Pat set about gaining on the riders ahead but unfortunately in both races "arm pump" (a cramp of the forearm) started to effect Pat's ability to chase hard and left him fighting to hold his position.
Given the issues Pat had to contend with, the 7th and 6th place finishes are a strong result however, Pat is looking to solve the recurring "arm pump" before his next race at Brands Hatch in August where he is looking to close the gap to the head of the Championship. Pat now lies 4th in the Championship, 33 points behind the leader Jamie Hamilton.
