Gino Rea training with Leon Camier and Casey Stoner fitness guru, Julian Clark

Gino Rea got the opportunity on Thursday, to spend time with fitness expert Julian Clark. Julian also advises Leon Camier and Casey Stoner so it was a good opportunity to develop Gino's fitness regime further in preparation for the 2009 season. In Gino's words:
"I had my fitness assessment with Julian Clark. All went well and they took measurements of my body including percentage of fat and data like that. Then I had a few strength tests which also went well. I then did a cycle, where I had to wear a gas mask, which measured the amount of oxygen I was using and I also had a heart monitor on. The last bit of the cycle was a 'wall' sprint, where I maxed out my heart rate at 204bpm! It was pretty intense and I was delirious at the end! Julian is forwarding all the data with graphs etc on to me in the next couple of days and will make a training package. He also has plans for me to go and train with some of his other riders including strength training, cycling, trials riding and boxing."
