Gino Rea starts from row two for tomorrow's Dutch Superbike race at Hengelo street circuit
23-05-2009
Gino completed two qualifying sessions today for tomorrow's Dutch Superbike race at the Hengelo street circuit in eastern Netherlands. In Gino's words:
The first qualifying session went well. I set a fast lap at the beginning and was fastest for most of the session so I took it easy. I got pushed back to 4th right at the end but was only 0.2s from pole. For the second session we made a slight change but unfortunately didn't go faster and I got pushed back to 5th. But still we are close on times and a second row start is fine. We are going back to the first qualifying settings and I'm confident I can get a good start and challenge for a podium. I just have to remember it's a street circuit and there's no room for errors! My race is at 15.30 CET tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it!
