Difficult first practice session for Gino Rea at Valencia

Gino's first ride on the 2009 Ten Kate Honda Superstock 600 bike was today at the first practice session at Valencia, due to the delays that we have reported previously. However, Gino and the team made adjustments through the session to go gradually faster and ended the day in 9th place in a time of 1m 42s. Gino will be expecting to achieve 1m 39s in the race and therefore there is more to go for in tomorrow's practice and qualifying sessions before the race at 14.30 CET on Sunday. In Gino's words:
"The team is good, we are working together great. After finishing 9th in practice, there is still a lot to come from myself and the bike. Gearing, suspension and some other changes are being made for tomorrow. My cold is getting better so now I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings."
