Dan Linfoot's first Rob Mac Racing test of 2009 at Donington

Dan started the Rob Mac Racing 2009 test programme at Donington today. Rob McElnea has arranged a series of tests in an agreement with Focused Events. The track day firm provides dedicated track time for the team during customer events. The team gives access to their garage and presentations for Focused Events customers during each day. The relationship works well.
This first test was to give initial track time to Dan, Chris Walker, Michael Rutter and Graeme Gowland prior to the start of testing proper. The weather unfortunately was mixed however, each rider got a chance to successfully settle into riding again after winter training.
The testing programme continues this weekend at Oulton Park (Saturday) and Cadwell (Sunday) with each rider starting to work on individual bike settings.
Rob McElnea, the technical team and all four riders including Dan left the circuit today with big smiles. Both the Supersport and the new 2009 R1 Superbikes performed well.
