Dan Linfoot, Pat McDougall and Christian Iddon kick off the BSB Brands Hatch round today.

Dan, Pat and Christian were all on track today on the first day of the Brands Hatch GP BSB event. They were joined by Gino Rea who is having a weekend at the BSB event supporting and spectating.
Pat and Beowulf Racing had a British Superstock 600 practice session this morning and then their first qualifying session this afternoon, at Pat's favorite circuit on the BSB calendar. Both sessions went well with Pat finishing second fastest in practice and then finishing provisional pole after first qualifying. A great start to the weekend for Pat who has another qualifying session tomorrow before the race on Sunday.
Dan and Rob Mac Racing (with the new "NODE 4" sponsorship livery) returned to the British Supersport Championship today having missed three rounds with Dan's injured foot sustained at Snetterton. The morning practice session was damp and the team decided it would be better to wait for the second practice session this afternoon before Dan took to the circuit. Second practice was dry and Dan completed 18 laps achieving the 7th fastest time of the day. Perhaps more importantly Dan was comfortable on the bike and was able to identify a good base setting prior to the two qualifying sessions tomorrow.
Christian took to the Brands Hatch GP track for the first time today and was focusing on learning the circuit during today's practice session for the KTM RC8 Supercup. Christian finished 10th fastest during the session and is now settled into the circuit prior to qualifying and then race one tomorrow followed by race two on Sunday.
