Dan Linfoot competes his first Superbike races at Silverstone.

Dan raced his first Superbike event with Rob Mac Racing at Silverstone over the weekend. The change to Superbike from Supersport is a learning process and that has started well, will continue at the BSB Oulton Park round and through the winter testing before hopefully competing British Superbikes for the 2010 season.
Having qualified 23rd on the grid for the Silverstone races Dan had a good start in race one and rode well finishing 18th. Dan was preparing to use what he had learnt in race two but although he had another good start in the restarted race, a fault with the steering damper caused the steering to jam during lap one finishing Dan's race.
A great learning weekend overall which will enable Dan to look for a step forward at BSB Oulton Park in two weeks time.
