Dan Linfoot and Pat McDougall at Silverstone and Gino Rea at Imola

Dan and Pat are at the BSB Silverstone round this weekend. Gino is at the WSBK Imola round. Today was qualifying day for the races tomorrow:
Dan has made the move to Superbike with Rob Mac Racing for the remaining two rounds of this season at Silverstone and Oulton Park. The Silverstone event is Dan's first meeting on a Superbike and so it is a matter of moving forward in each session and focusing on developing. Dan went faster in each of the practice sessions moving to a 1m27.9s lap which he repeated in Roll for Pole leaving him 23rd on the 30 rider grid. A good start from which Dan can build starting in the two races tomorrow.
Pat and Beowulf Racing are focussing on running at the front of the grid in the British Superstock 600 championship and gaining maximum points at both Silverstone and Oulton Park. Practice and qualifying have gone well with Pat going faster in each session and gaining 2nd place on the grid for the race tomorrow. A good start will leave Pat in a great position for his second race win of the season.
Gino and Ten Kate Honda are looking for strong results from the remaining three races in the season starting at Imola, to secure the WSBK Superstock 600 championship. The start of the weekend has been awkward with delays to sessions on Friday due to the track surface needing to be cleaned. However Gino had one practice and then the qualifying session today gaining 6th place on the grid for tomorrows race. Gino will be looking for one of his trademark fast starts followed by a race win.
