Christian Iddon testing at Portimao with Direct CCTV Racedays Honda

Last weekend Christian joined Direct CCTV Racedays Honda at Portimao for a "short circuit" test over three days on the Honda CBR 600. The team and Christian are still planning to enter a number of events in the IDM German Supersport Championship this season but the details are being decided. In the words of Team Manager Gerry Bryce:
"Racers Josh Elliott and Christian Iddon took part in the Racedays Masterclass at Portimao this weekend, joining coaches Jeremy McWilliams and Simon Crafar on track and in the classroom as preparation for their IDM German Supersport debut. The 3 day test saw the riders get to grips well with their new bikes, qualifying 8th and 10th out of the 160 strong mix of Superstock, Supersport and Superbike competitors. The Racedays test weekend saw a number of international racers attend and both riders enjoyed pushing the limits with the fast boys including Mist Suzuki's Matt Bond, Co-Ordit's Richard Cooper and MS Racing's Barry Burrell. Testing on the new 2009 IDM spec Hondas continues at Valencia and at Racedays' Easter Jerez event, prior to the opening round at the Lausitzring."
