Christian Iddon shines in British Superstock 1000 Championship race at Oulton Park

Christian Iddon riding the SMT Superstock 1000 bike, had a great weekend at BSB Oulton Park. This was Christian's first race in British Superstock 1000 and he proved a point to himself and to the paddock that he has the ability to be a future winner in 1000cc Superstock and Superbike racing.
Christian qualified 14th on the grid whilst settling into the bike and getting used to the different riding necessary. From 14th Christian made a strong start in the race battling his way through to 9th position by lap 6. From here Christian raced to 6th place by lap 10 and started a battle with Sam Warren and Luke Quigley that continued to the end of the 14 lap race.
Christian is keen to focus on short circuit racing next season ideally in the new Evo class in BSB and is now looking towards the start of the 2010 season in April.
