Christian Iddon on the podium in 3rd at Donington Park this afternoon

Christian had a great race in this afternoon's BSB RC8 Supercup round at Donington Park to finish on the podium in 3rd place. A good start saw Christian move into 2nd position behind David Wood and in front of Kelvin Reilly the two expected front runners. The first three then changed positions frequently as they pulled away from the field over the first 8 laps of the race at which point the race was red flagged and the result declared with Christian in 3rd position behind David Wood in 2nd and Kelvin Reilly 1st.
