Christian Iddon on the podium in 3rd at Brands Hatch today

Christian had the first of his two KTM RC8 Supercup races at Brands Hatch today and had a great result on the podium in 3rd.
After finishing 10th fastest in practice yesterday, Christian qualified in 5th this morning for the race at 5.45pm this afternoon. From the second row Christian got a good start to the race and within two corners was in 3rd position and fighting for 2nd. The race then settled for the next 7 laps laps with Christian in 3rd challenging for 2nd. However, an issue with grip then caused Christian to slow but he held on until the end of the 12 lap race for the podium result.
The 2nd race is tomorrow at 11.45am and Christian is looking to solve today's grip issue and be fighting for the higher podium steps.
