Christian Iddon completes a strong weekend with another 2nd place at Knockhill

Christian had a great weekend competing in the KTM RC8 Supercup at BSB Knockhill. Having qualified in 2nd on the grid and finishing 2nd in race one on Saturday (see news here), Christian was was looking for one place higher in race two on Sunday. A faster start saw Christian into the lead off the line and then tuck in behind David Wood who pulled a small gap on Christian over the first few laps. From there Christian found the speed to start to close the gap posting the fastest lap time of the race and was right behind Wood with four laps to go in the 20 lap race. The tustle for the lead then started culminating with Christian passing for the lead on the last lap but with Wood passing back to finish the race just ahead of Christian.
Two great races which set the scene for Christians next BSB RC8 Supercup races at Brands Hatch and Cadwell Park at the beginning and end of August.
