Christian Iddon 8th in a torrentially wet race 2 this afternoon at Viterbo

Christian had a difficult 2nd race today after the difficult race 1 this morning. From Pole Christian started in torrentially wet conditions and moved back to 5th before climbing back to 3rd at the end of lap one. From there things settled with Delepine passing Christian and the order staying Chareyre, Gozzini, Delepine and Christian until lap 4 when Christian moved back to 10th. A typically fighting ride from Christian then saw him climb back to 8th. Not the points that Christian will have wanted from the weekend but with the next round at Mallory Park in the UK, Christian will be planning to move forward from here. Chareyre the 2008 SWC S2 champion, won both races today.
