A good first day of BSB Donington Park for Dan Linfoot, Pat McDougall and Christian Iddon

Dan, Pat and Christian all had good starts to the third BSB round at Donington Park today.
Dan and the Rob Mac Racing team had two practice sessions today for the British Supersport Championship and finished with the fastest time of the day at 1m34.8s ahead of Steve Plater in 2nd and Billy McConnell in 3rd. Dan has saved his softer compound tyres for the two qualifying sessions tomorrow and therefore will be hoping to improve further on his time and achieve a good starting grid position for Monday's race at 15.30 UK time.
Pat and the Beowulf Racing team had one practice session and also the first qualifying session today for the British Superstock 600 Championship. Pat holds a strong 2nd place on the grid after today's qualifying with a time of 1m37.5s behind Jamie Hamilton. The team have a further qualifying session tomorrow to consolidate the front row starting position for the race at 13.50 UK time on Monday.
Christian is riding for the first time for KTM in the KTM RC8 Supercup Championship and had his first practice session today finishing a strong 5th with a 1m40.3s lap. Christian has one qualifying session tomorrow (Sun) before his first RC8 Supercup race tomorrow evening at 16.30 UK time and the second race on Monday at 12.05 UK time.
